Organic: grapes grown without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides for at least 3 years. Wines labeled "made with organic grapes" (or something similar), must contain at least 70% certified organic ingredients and follow government guidelines for processing the wine.
Biodynamic: Practices take a "super-charged organic" look at the vineyards; viewing the farm as an organism that is a self contained entity with its own individuality. The farming practices set out to achieve quality by following cycles and rhythms of the earth and the universe beyond.
